New Patient
Information
Dr. Saslow sees all new
patients in a two-part evaluation:
The goal of the Part
I visit is to gain a comprehensive overview of the patient's family
and medical history. Patients under the age of 18 need not be present
for this initial office consultation. Through this, parents have the
opportunity to discuss their concerns and other relevant matters that
are otherwise too sensitive to be discussed in the presence of the
child. Both parents are highly encouraged to attend the Part I
visit. The length of a Part I visit is approximately 60-90 minutes.
Part II is a follow-up
consultation that consists of the administration of a
TOVA test and a
consequent discussion with Dr. Saslow. He will give patients his
official diagnosis and a recommended treatment plan during this visit.
The length of a Part II visit is approximately 90-120 minutes.
*Part I and Part II visits are
to be scheduled no more than a week apart.* |
